Here are some shots off my phone from our yummy Wagamama's meal. Noodles noodles noodles!! The ladies started off the chopsticks but after a few minutes we all gave up. Tegan lasted the longest :)
Things kicked off last Tues evening! We changed venues this year as we are now meeting at my apartment. It was so fun to make the nachos (youth group tradition) & light the candles in preparation for their arrival. We spent the evening discussing why we meet & if we really expect God to show up the mundane bits of life. Despite the humiliating games that Dave had them play (see photos below), they really enjoyed themselves. We are challenging them more this year & trying to get more discussions going. They took the bait! One of the gals told me as she was leaving that she could tell we had put a lot of work into making them feel welcomed! The following morning one of the other gals texted me on the way to school to thank me for an encouraging night because school had been going so horribly for her. Last year we “dug”. This year we are “exploring”. We are learning to live & work with God.
